Mike Murphy

Mike was a leading City Analyst and he set up Mike Murphy Racing in 2007 following a number of years of ownership and having ridden as an Amateur. Having initially divided his time between his City work and the racing stables Mike retired from his analytical duties in 2014 to concentrate on developing the racing stables. From inception the strategy has been to develop excellent facilities and experienced staff and the yard can boast both. Mike’s wife, Denise, is the racing secretary and is responsible for the book keeping and ensuring we are compliant with the ever increasing rules and regulations governing the sport.

Michael Keady

Michael Keady has joined the team as my assistant trainer after spending two very successful years overseeing Andrew Reid's London based racing operation. Prior to this Michael has served as head lad to top northern based trainer Brian Ellison, pupil assistant to Dubai World Cup winning trainer Graham Motion, based in Florida, USA and also worked under top French jumps trainer J Bertran de Balanda.

Hugo Meunier

Hugo has spent a considerable time (over 20 years) in the racing industry. He had spent 12 years at Peter Harris/Walter Swinburn before joining the team in 2011. Hugo is an excellent lightweight rider and has lots of experience with young stock. He is also our main gallop man and takes great pride in ensuring a first class surface.

Kumbh Singh

Work Rider

"Singh", as he likes to be called, joined the yard in March, 2016. He is a very experienced rider having spent a number of years at Richard Hannon's yard. He has quickly settled into his new environment and established himself as part of our experienced team.

Becca joined the team at the start of the 2021 flat season.

She previously worked for local trainer Stuart Edmunds for 13 years and is a huge asset to our team helping with the day to day management of the yard and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Becca has two horses of her own that she events in her spare time and has previously evented at 3 star level.

Kristina Dolinkova

Kristyna joined the team during the 2019 season. She has worked and volunteered in the racing industry for nearly 15 years having spent the last two of those working at the local and successful Woburn Stud. Having spent time furthering her knowledge on bloodstock and breeding she has joined us as a part time work rider. With the added experience of working for some of the top trainers in her native Czech Republic as a work rider, she is a great asset to our yard and her feedback is invaluable.

Daisy Christie

Daisy joined the team at the start of the 2021 flat season. She is a lovely person to have on the yard and always has a smile on her face. She has her own horse at home and likes hunting and point to pointing. She is interested in bloodstock and her goal is to one day ride in a race which we hope we can help her achieve.

Faye Moxon

Ground Team

Faye joined us at the end of the 2020 season and has become a vital member of our team. She is responsible for keeping the ground team running smoothly and does a great job. Faye also runs a pet caring business and spends most of her time, when away from horses, walking dogs! She is a real animal lover and a huge asset to our team.
